Hi everyone,
Just an update on my background stories. I'm including them on my etsy site so you can get a real feel of how and why the aprons and other items are made.
My designs are a journey of discovery for me. Every color, shape and design a connection to some past, present or future in my life. I will try and bring as many stories to my items as I can so you can see and feel the connection as well.
I hope some happiness is felt through my stories or some memories are rekindled of love, family and home.

Juggling motherhood and work has been fun and a learning experience. Runawaywombat is an Etsy site where I create classic items which are vibrant, practical and fun. On the food front I made Lemon slice and honestly I can't make enough of it as it run off the plate with my family.

Background Stories
Today I thought I would show you my new Background story for a new apron on etsy. This Background Story idea came after writing my Once Upon a Time stories and thought people might like a history to the making of an apron.
Why I picked the material, if there was any connection to my life in picking the material and whether the end result was what I was expecting.
For me it's not about the making of the apron but the connection and how I'm feeling in the process of making it. I will include some more Background stories for my other aprons and hope you enjoy reading them. Here is the Background Story for Chef Style Half Apron Daisy Flowers and some photos.
Background Story
Hi and Welcome. This Material was purchased with my daughter It was her advice that this material belongs in the kitchen and had a fresh, fun look. I have to agree after making the apron it has a real happiness about it. I have also made a kids apron and tea towel which are on separate listings. I hope you enjoy this combination. The straps are made in the two materials for extra contrast.
