Vintage inspired aprons

Hi everyone,
Just listed another vintage apron. I love polka dots and this is the new runawaywombat range. The different polka dot colours and there will be more to come in the future. I love all aprons in all shape and forms. That's why there is such a range in the shop on etsy. Different designs, different styles, different colour and prints. Well enough with the chatter and here are the photos.

Just sitting here looking at the computer as most of us do now days. Wondering what to google next. I find it funny how our lives have changed and wonder what I was doing before computers. I find myself having this wealth of information that I probably didn't have before because I can just look it up

.I thought I would just share my thoughts this morning with you. I don't know if you find that at all interesting, but I often ponder about how the journey is going and where it is heading. To deep. Probably.

NEW NEW Pouch overnight makeup pouches

Hey everyone,
Just finished and listed my latest pouches for you to see. These are so nice and soft with the padding I add to them. These are the latest two and the prints do match some of the brush rolls. They would make a lovely set for a gift or to spoil yourself. I know, as a mum I should do some of that from time to time. Here are the pics. There are also some more aprons coming full and half length, which I'll share with you.

Had homemade pancakes last night but I forgot to take a picture to share with you. Next time I will. They were delicious, I'll keep it in mind for next time.

Just listed another pouch for you to see. I'm really enjoying making these. I have two now listed for you to see. This new lemon floral print is lovely. Even more vibrant then the picture. The dainty floral print is just pretty, with the stricking black buttons and cute bow, it is very sweet. I hope you like it. If you at all wish to leave me a comment, by all means do. Well here they are. My new pouches to complement my brush rolls. I'll include the background story for you. I have been thinking about these for a while, but time has just gotten away from me. But now I sat down and made the first one and there will be more to come. I hope you like these, and I really hope you like the bows, I think it gives the pouch a cuteness to it. Catch you soon.

Background story.
Been wanting to make these forever and share them with you all. Polka dots, well of course. You know I love polka dots. These have two sizes, which are made by the two buttons. Fold lower on the bottom button and you have a medium pouch, on the top button you have a large pouch. I hope you like theses new to the collection on runawaywombat.

Just a little note

Just letting you know that I have a new item on the way. Will be listing it soon, so stay tuned. I love making new things and I'll give you a small clue. It's polka dots of course. I'm pretty excited. Will blog very soon. See ya.

Once a upon a passion

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would share my thoughts on creating. I love creating. I love thinking of something and then making it happen. From the idea to the final product is an exciting time.

It probably sounds all a bit much. But I enjoy the process. I think a passion is a great job. I never complain about making things, and if anything I probably spend to much time thinking about it. I love going into craft shops and I'm amazed at what people can make.

The colours, the shapes, the practical ideas are such fun to see. Etsy has been a great creative outlet for me and I love the many people I have communicated with.

I think a passion is a great thing to have and it gives you a great reason to get up in the morning and get thinking, making your mind work, seems to keep us younger for longer.

I'm in the process of making something new for etsy to add to my collection of practical items. I'll show you soon. Keep happy.

Once a upon a time - weight loss - the journey.

You are probably wondering how the weight loss journey has been going. Well, it's all good. The body has been changing and I bought a dress for a function and it was a size 12. The sale person, even suggest perhaps a size 10. That could have been a sale pitch though, who cares it made me feel good.

So, I have dropped a size, almost 2 sizes and I have stonger legs, back and arms. It's not a struggle to get out of bed, but I must admit that the gym is a love hate relationship, which I struggle with. With a lovely push, from my husband with those always lovely words, " Have you gone to the gym today" I try to manage to go, I would like to say 3 times a week, but honestly, it is sometimes only one. But, it's still there and the guilt usually gets me there, and then I feel better after I have gone.

I think my biggest problem is I probably don't move enough, so I think I will have to up the walking. Lets see if I can put that to plan. So, things are coming a long, I guess it is all up to me. I am happy with my progress and I am within normal weight for my size. So just a few more kilos and I'm there. Where you ask. Just a happier, healthier me.

Home grown Garden salad

I just thought I'd share with you my salad from last night. It was vegetables from the garden, except for the olives. Beautiful fresh and delicious. I love the color and tossed in a salt, pepper, olive oil and vingar dressing it was very refreshing and light. I hope you like the pic.
